Owner Maurice Santucci and head chef Travis Humphery boast CV's listing Australia's finest Italian eateries.
Santucci and Humphery share Northern Italian heritage as well as a passion for "good, unpretentious European food" which is reflected through a menu that, like the design of the restaurant, is elegant yet informal.
The lunch special offers 1, 2 or 3 courses and a glass of house wine from $18 a head. The a la carte menu has offerings like "Baked fresh local sardines layered with nicola potato, fennel, raisins and pinenuts topped with golden breadcrumbs" and "Pot roasted goat leg wrapped in pancetta and stuffed with chestnuts and sage, served upon spinach".
