Le mariage est l'union de deux personnes, généralement un homme (le mari ou époux) et une femme (la femme ou épouse), dans le but de former une famille ou de lier des familles existantes. Dans ce cas, on parle de mariage monogame.
Le mariage polygame est le fait pour une personne d'avoir plusieurs conjoints. Dans ce dernier cas, il existe alors deux forme de mariages polygames : dans un certain nombre de pays, notamment africains et arabes, est pratiqué le mariage d'un homme avec plusieurs femmes, on parle alors de polygynie, alors que dans de très rares contrées, asiatiques, on pratique le mariage d'une femme avec plusieurs hommes, il s'agit alors de polyandrie.

History

The earliest known shoes date from about 8000 to 7000 BCE and were found in Oregon, USA in 1938. However, the materials used for making shoes do not normally last for thousands of years, so shoes were probably in use long before this. Physical anthropologist Erik Trinkaus believes he has found evidence that the use of shoes began in the period between about 40,000 and 26,000 years ago, based on the fact that the thickness of the bones of the toes (other than the big toe) decreased during this period, on the premise that going barefoot results in greater bone growth before this period
